| Additional Course Offerings |
| The role of the church
leadership is to equip the saints for the work of the
ministry. While Sunday morning service is a time of teaching
the basics of the scriptures, it is not completely adequate.
Therefore, we provide a series of Core courses to cover
all of the aspects of the ministry of reconciliation,
as well as a number of other classes that add to the foundation. |

periodically based on the membership’s needs, interests,
and direction. |

| Bible
Customs & Manners |
Much of the meaning
of the scriptures is tied to understanding the culture
within which it was written. The objectives of this
course are to:
- Provide a basic understanding of the cultural context
of the Bible
- Uncover the meaning of certain difficult scriptures
and idioms that are based on the customs and manners
of the day
- Encourage the continual pursuit of a deeper understanding
of the scriptures
Emphasis is also placed on learning to use other resources
such as concordances and Bible dictionaries. |

History |
The objectives of this
course are to:
- Provide an overview of the key themes that have
created the present setting of the global church
- Trace the history of important people and events
that have shaped church history
- Reinforce the message of the unity of the body of
Christ as emphasized in the New Testament

| Introduction
to Torah |
The objectives of this
course are to:
- Provide an overview of the principles
of Adonai’s teaching and instruction as embodied
in the first five books of the Old Testament
- Develop the skills of interpretation
to understand the relevance of the message of each
Torah portion to our walk
- Encourage the continued pursuit
of the wisdom embodied in the Torah

| One-Flesh
Marriage |
The objectives
of this course are to:
- Reinforce the Biblical framework
for marriage
- Improve the skills of husbands
in wives in facilitating the will of Adonai in each
other’s lives
- Help husbands, wives, and those
seeking to be married, to order their union in submission
to the will of Adonai

| Raising
Godly Children |
The objectives of this
course are to:
- Provide parents-to-be, with a foundation
in a Biblical approach to raising their children
- Improve the skills of parents in
establishing guidelines for a healthy home environment
and healthy family relationships
- Help parents deal with the difficult
issues of discipline, education, friendships, etc.

| Communications |
The clear differences
between men and women are often neglected as it concerns
their styles of communication. The objectives of this
course are to:
- Provide an in-depth understanding
how the way we are raised impacts the way we communicate
- Address the potential sources of
conflicts in relationships and especially the gender-basis
- Provide skills in maximizing our
interactions and collaboration based on the way that
men and women may approach situations
This course is also provided as separate
sessions for men or for women depending on the needs. |
