Pearlie Madkins was born in Fresno, California. At the age of seven, her family
moved back to Wewoka, Oklahoma, the birthplace of her parents
(who are now deceased). She is single. She has seven sisters,
five brothers and a host of nephews and nieces.
She
was “born-again” in February 1983. She does not
know the day, she only knows she promised the Lord that she
was ready to commit her life to Him. In October 1983, she
became a member of the Rhema Faith Center Church (Rhema) in
Vienna, Virginia. There she served under Pastors Cameron and
Anna Simmons as an Usher/Greeter, a Children’s Ministry
Teacher, an Adults’ Sunday School Teacher, a Counter
of Church funds and as a Worship Leader in the Music Ministry.
From September 1986 to April 1995, she served as a Deacon.
Pearlie also appreciates the privilege of having lead a Wednesday
and Thursday lunchtime Bible study at her place of employment
from 1987 to 1998. |
In
1994, Rhema received new pastors, Pastors LeRoy and Rita Thompson.
A year later, the church also received a new name, The Triumphant
Church. Since April 1995, Pearlie has been serving as an Elder.
She is actively involved in the guidance of our Intercessory Prayer Ministry.
Pearlie’s
greatest desire is to live prophecy spoken over her to be
“known as a woman that is dedicated unto the Kingdom
of God and dedicated unto her God.” Her response is
Luke 1:38, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be
it unto me according to Thy Word." |
