| Evangelist
Betty Fluker made her first recording in 1980. She is a gospel singer
and inspired songwriter, often compared with Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin, and Shirley Caesar. She has performed
at the Public Playhouse in Cheverly, MD, and has been featured on live musical
broadcast radio stations in Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD. She was a
featured music minister at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York City,
NY.
Betty
is a preacher of the Word of God, ministering under the power and the
anointing of the Holy Spirit. In 1996, she was ordained as an Evangelist
at the Triumphant Church. With Pastors LeRoy and Rita Thompson's support,
she is committed to spreading the gospel to the lost and the hurting throughout
the world.
In
2002, Betty released People Get Ready, a proclamation of the
Lordship of Jesus the Messiah and a testimony of her new life in Him.
She
continues to minister at hospitals and shelters such as the Washington
Center for Aging and Brother's Keeper Mission. She has ministered in Nigeria
and Guyana.
Betty
loves the Lord and thanks him for her blessings. She is also thankful
to everyone who helped finance her CD. She is most thankful for the opportunity
to commit herself to full-time ministry, and is very careful to give all
glory and honor to God.
